For some reason I love knowing strange and random facts, and this characteristic has caused me to be known as “the girl full of useless information.” Although the weird and random facts in my head may seem pointless, they often come in handy! Here are a few fun and interesting health facts that I really enjoyed!

  1. You should not exercise within two hours of  bedtime.
  2. Inhaling the scent of roses at night improves memory.
  3. People who don’t have close relationships have weaker immune systems.
  4. Kissing for one minute burns 26 calories.
  5. A tiger’s skin is stripped, not just its fur.
  6. A study showed people who commit random acts of kindness are happier, which leads to a longer life.
  7. People with dogs have lower blood pressure and live with less stress.
  8. Laughter provides a boost to the immune system.
  9. If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
  10. The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
